This workshop uses no specific film text(s) while playing with many layers of theories , so the roundtable participants would be required to prepare,

1)   An outline used to summarize what you have read, and to raise questions based on the 3 readings; you could focus on any one of them;
2)   A film, preferably an Asia-coproduced film, that you think could be used to illustrate your ideas;
3)   Work with your outline and your film to generate your own argument, responding to or challenging our authors;
4)   Present your ideas in front of the audience (could be in any format; no visuals is fine); time-limit 10 min/ respondent would be assigned on site;
5)   Share with the lecturer and your classmates beforehand the information and sources of your chosen film (around July 13th, 2017, ideally); email me so I could update the blog.
